Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers rooms overlooking the gardens with a beautiful view of the Atlas mountains, though they are somewhat tight on space and lighting at 4 pm. The service was a bit inconsistent, ranging from elegant uniforms to conflicts over tips. The location, perfect for a movie scene in Old Town Marrakesh, is excellent with the main square just one block away. The dining experience was great, apart from some buzzing birds disrupting the breakfast buffet. The facilities are top-notch, catering to various needs.
The hotel is like a fairytale with an amazing location near everything and stunning views of the Atlas mountains. The rooms are appointed with intricate Moroccan tile work, have separate toilet and shower areas, and offer plenty of storage space. The service is attentive, with staff going the extra mile to assist guests. Dining is a culinary delight with a fantastic variety of local delicacies, but some may find it pricey. The facilities are top-notch, offering a luxurious experience.
Arriving at the hotel, the rooms were amazing, but unfortunately, mine wasn't ready when I arrived. The lighting was insufficient for reading. The service, although polite, was a bit slow and disorganized at times. The location, with its beautiful gardens, lived up to the hotel's great reputation, but encountered a negative experience with the spa manager. The dining was fantastic, offering a great mix of Eastern and European cuisine, but lacked simple options like tea and toast at a lower price. Overall, a mixed experience.
Staying at La Mamounia was lovely but very warm, beyond our expectations, yet not perfectly clean. The service was on point, especially with the pool manager giving my chair away without proper apology. The location is surrounded by beautiful gardens but lacks a bit of value for the money paid. The dining experience was great in service but a bit expensive. The facilities need a bit more attention for cleanliness.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms are beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan ornaments, have a luxurious bathroom, and a comfy king-size bed. The terraces both inside and outside are perfect for relaxing breaks. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Marrakech. The local style in the rooms is just right, making the stay feel authentically Moroccan.
My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed readily available. The top-floor room allocated to me had stunning views of the city and the garden, and the Moroccan tile work added a beautiful touch to the decor. The service was impeccable, with courteous staff making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal, close to the medina, and the hotel grounds were so lovely that I was tempted to stay in. The dining experience was diverse and delightful, yet having more casual options would have been a nice addition. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I could ask for during my stay.
I found that the hotel has a beautiful location within the old Medina of Marrakech, making it a lovely escape. The rooms, while small, offered a double balcony overlooking immaculate gardens, though they were a bit functionally challenged. The service was mixed, with attentive poolside staff but a pushy insistence on upfront payment. Dining had its charm with a chaotic atmosphere and high dining costs. The facilities were adequate overall.
The hotel was Moroccan inspired and very beautiful with amazing rooms, impeccable service, and a gorgeous location right outside the Medina. However, the rooms were very, very small and unfortunately not functional.
The hotel offers a mix of traditional Moroccan charm and modern luxury, with a lovely pool view. The light, steam, and water combinations in the SPA shop make for a serene experience, although service can be selective based on guest profiles or perceived wealth.
The hotel is a beautifully decorated gem with a lovely veranda and intricate Moroccan tile work, offering a great local ambiance. However, the room is a bit tiny for a single king bed. The service was impeccable, especially towards high-profile guests, but there were some issues with the valet service. The location is simply amazing with lush green lawns and proximity to key attractions, yet there were unexpected minibar charges. The dining experience by the pool was outstanding, although the furniture could be better. Facilities are top-notch with great value for money.
My stay at La Mamounia was a mix of beauty and functionality. The rooms were undeniably gorgeous, but a bit small and lacked practicality, especially in the bathroom for adults and children. The hotel's historical significance and royal ties added a luxurious touch to the experience, making it a memorable stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, immersed in a splendid local touch with beautiful views over the gardens. The service was efficient and well-trained, making my experience truly enjoyable. The location in the 17-acre park was perfect for exploring the city sites, though a negative encounter with the French spa manager left a bitter taste. The dining experience was good, offering a nice variety but lacking simpler options. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers excellent views of the city and garden from the top floor rooms, but the rooms seem a bit old-fashioned and small for Marrakesh. The service was kind and welcoming, although there were some communication issues. The location is perfect for exploring the souks and historical sights, but there were some bothersome aspects with salespeople nearby. The dining experience was delicious, but there were challenges with availability. The facilities were adequate but could use some improvement.
The hotel room was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Atlas mountains but unfortunately very, very small and not very functional. The service was knowledgeable and helpful but at times lacked flexibility. The location was stunning with a rich history and beautiful surroundings. The dining was excellent, but meals by the pool ended up being quite expensive. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout features.
The rooms are so spacious and make sure you get one with the full garden view; up to Four Seasons levels. The rooms looked EXACTLY like the “Classic” room advertised on their website. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, v close to the beautiful Koutoubia mosque and complete with little lanes filled with lemon trees and orange trees, olive trees, roses bushes, and stunning cacti. The dining experience, at approximately £40 per person, could satisfy our appetite, and the home-grown products made the dining experience even better every morning.
